1/8/2010 - Hossler and Duncan are now current Pro/Extreme Points leaders
on two continents! - Following their 2010 season win in Ennis is Texas, Alex Hossler and the Chris Duncan Race Cars Camaro made his long trip to Qatar pay off with the Pro Extreme win in Round 3 of the Arabian Drag Racing League’s 2009-10 season, posting a holeshot win over Tennessee’s Von Smith in the Pro/Extreme final round at the Qatar Race Club.

1/1/2010 - CDRC team flies out to compete at Doha Qatar - Go ahead an call-up CDRC for your 2010 chassis needs, the shop is still open with staff at the telephones while the racing team is off to compete in Qatar for the 3 week racing series.

The team will also arrive back in the states in time to display at the upcoming World Drag Expo on January 30th and 31st in Schaumburg Illinois.

Though the Camaro will still be in transit back from the middle-east at expo time, some of his other latest chassis creations will, along with Chris and some great stories at his booth 809 - 815.

12/28/2009 - Chris Duncan and Alex Hossler invited to compete at January Doha Qatar event - With a special invitation from His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Thani. The CDRC team and their Pro/Modified Camaro are loading up on a Boeing 747 cargo plane and flying out to Doha Qatar in the Middle East as part of the Arabian Drag Racing League event the first 3 weeks of January. It's been and interesting challenge for the team."

11/15/2009 - Joe Bucaro makes yet another final round appearance at the last NMCA race of the year at Memphis - Another Nostalgia Pro/Street runner-up finish at the Memphis NMCA Finals that clinched the 2009 points championship. Team Bucaro was titled Nostalgia Pro/Street Champions upon their first round win. A big congrats from Chris Duncan Race Cars to the whole Bucaro team for choosing us for your Mustang chassis and updates.

10/25/2009 - WE WON! - Alex Hossler takes the Chris Duncan prepared Camaro to the win at the Texas Motorplex in the ADRL Pro Extreme category.

ENNIS, TX (Oct. 24, 2009 as reported by adrl.us) — Alex Hossler won his career-first National Guard ADRL Pro Extreme event in memorable fashion, crossing the eighth-mile finish line at the Texas Motorplex with his 1970 Camaro on fire after posting a 3.73-seconds pass at 202.48 miles per hour to beat Quain Stott in the final round of the LenMar Motorsports ADRL World Finals V.
Also earning National Guard Minuteman trophies at the final event of the National Guard ADRL’s year, but the first points-paying opportunity of the 2010 season were new class champion Khalid Al-Balooshi in Pro Nitrous, Extreme 10.5 racer Chuck Ulsch, Scott Gray, who also won his first Pro Extreme Motorcycle championship earlier in the day, and Cary Goforth with his first official Extreme Pro Stock win. Morgan Benfield of Virginia Beach, Virginia also won her first Junior Minuteman in the exhibition Pro Jr. Dragster class.
“How’s that for a spectacular finish?” Hossler asked upon climbing from his car after stopping on the track where safety crews sprayed the engine with a fire extinguisher. “It banged the blower right when we crossed the line, but it lasted just long enough to get the job done.”
Hossler and Stott left almost simultaneously, but when a 3.75 at 205.57-mph pass flashed across Stott’s scoreboard, it translated to a .021 margin of victory for Hossler, who hails from Canton, Illinois.

9/15/2009 - Chassis #1 returns back to the shop for updates and new Santhuff struts - Marvin Grubb (car owner) of Grubb Automotive in Pine River Ontario has returned to Chris Duncan Race Cars for inspection after almost a 1000 hits on his Cavalier chassis with no adjustments since the day it left the shop.

A thorough inspection found very little wrong with the car and the visiting team of Marvin, driver Darrin Grubb and crew chief Mike Denise are ecstatic with the cars performance and unheard of consistency. They look forward of many more years in Top/Sportsman class competition with their CDRC chassis.

9/9/2009 - Barklage Pro/Modified received titanium firewall upgrade - Chris Duncan Race Cars expanded titanium work includes retrofitting existing race cars with new lighter weight upgrades. Cody Barklage's Pro/Modified Firebird now includes a light weight titanium firewall that improves the firewall area layout and shaved over 8lbs from the past chrome moly firewall. "Many cars can experience even a greater weight saving depending on their current set-up" comments Chris Duncan. "This is an example of a standard feature of our new ultralight chassis design."

Alex Hossler said, "Chris told me that he was letting it all hang out for this pass and we were going fast or going nowhere."

8/28/2009 - 3.794! - Hossler and Duncan sent their 70.5 house car screaming down the 1/8th on Saturday night qualifying in the ADRL Pro Extreme class in the #3 position. this pass was historical for the team running a career best 3.794 @ 197.02.

The CDRC lightweight chassis design Camaro is the second fastest converter driven Pro/Modified in the world, but Chris stated "We are knocking on their door."

8/27/2009 - Congrats to Cody Barklage - Cody and his CDRC prepared Firebird take the win at the American Drag Racing League Columbus Pro Extreme class eliminator.
- Congrats Cody!

Also Barklage has his firebird back to the cd rc shop for some titanium upgrades between events in preparation for the upcoming ADRL battle for the belts championship in Texas.

8/22/2009 - Chris Duncan Race Cars own Camaro receives 6 page feature story in RPM Magazine - Still noted as the first of the new carbon fiber 70.5 Cynergy bodied Camaros, the Hossler and Duncan Camaro gets a full color spread in the September 2009 issue of RPM Magazine with detailed photography, description and interviews on the ground breaking CDRC chassis and Cynergy body design.

8/5/2009 - Studebaker Pro/Modified for Chuck Weck completed - The completed outlaw Pro Modified 1953 Studebaker features a complete fiberglass body and a CDRC exclusive ultralight chassis design developed by Chris Duncan.

CDRC tin work and specialty components are in place including a newly designed removable top firewall cowl and windshield and also a dzus- removable body. You can see an overview of the completed roller on the featured projects page.

7/20/2009 - Bucaro graces cover of Fastest Street Car Magazine - Denoting his accomplishment (and class domination) in the NMCA Nostalgia Pro Street category, the magazine noted his "insane 7.40 flat at Bradenton"

Joe also scored big in Milan Michigan at the NMCA Nostalgia Pro Street class where had a 7.42 top qualifying effort. Joe ran a 7.47 at over 179 mph in the final to score another 2009 NMCA win.

7/5/2009 - New Hossler/Duncan Camaro performs well at latest ADRL events in Martin, MI and Topeka KS - "We are learning what the new CDRC ultralight chassis design likes when it comes to different track conditions. The new 1970 1/2 Camaro responds to every adjustment we make," commented Chris Duncan.

Alex Hossler made it to the Semi finals in Topeka eliminations and qualified well within the Martin field with a 3.84 to earn him the #12 spot. The team then fell to Todd Tutterow in eliminations.

6/8/2009 - Bucaro Dominating NMCA Nostalgia Pro Street - Wins Muscle Car Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pennsylvania - Carol Stream illinois' Joe Bucaro is taking a dominant lead in the NMCA Nostalgia Pro Street category for 2009 in his CDRC Chassis equipped 2004 Mustang Ford. Bucaro bagged another win with a 7.53 E.T. at 181.84 mph. - Congrats Joe!

This currently sets Joe at 740 points to lead the NPS class, a cool 165 points ahead of number 2 !!!

The car is filled with CDRC ultralight components and CDRC double-adjustable 4-Link suspension.

6/2/2009 - Weck Studebaker Pro/Modified completed soon - If you would like to see some of the latest craftsmanship at the CDRC shop, stop by the facility to see the nearly completed outlaw 1953 Studebaker for Chuck Weck. Fiberglass, CDRC tin work and specialty components are in place for all racers to see.

5/28/2009 - Its Alive! - The maiden weekends for the Hossler and Duncan 70 1/2 Outlaw Pro/Modified Camaro netted great performances along with super consistency between multiple tracks/events!
The teams forest weekend with the new Camaro was at Memphis Motorsports Park for the ADRL Memphis Drags. Hossler qualified #11 of a 16 car field with a 3.84 in the ADRL Pro/Extreme category 1/8 mile. With bracket racing consistency, the team qualified again for ADRL Pro/Extreme category at Martin Michigan with another 3.84 ET that placed the team #11 in the qualified field prior to rained out eliminations.

4/1/2009 - Joe Starts 2009 With a Big Win - Congrats from all of us here at the shop. At the Bradenton Florida NMCA event in Nostalgia Pro Street is where small-block racer Joe Bucaro was able to take out the defending champion, becoming the first small-block racer to win in this big-block dominant class. Joe ran a 7.40 at 183 mph for his weekend best in his CDRC chassis Mustang. Look for Joe winning street to continue between NMCA and NMRA events in 2009!

2/14/2009 - New Weck Studebaker Pro/Modified - Coming soon a new CDRC Outlaw Pro/Mod chassis for Chicago area racer Chuck Weck a new 1953 Studebaker body design to replace his old previous Studebaker Pro/Modified. His current screw supercharger power plant will be relocated into his new light weight CDRC chassis for and early summer 2009 debut.

1/24/2009 - We made it - The CDRC display at the 2009 World Drag Expo features the newly completed Hossler-Duncan Pro/Modified roller! 1/18/2009 - Project 70.5 Camaro nearing roller status for 2009 World Drag Expo - Chris Duncan Race Cars will be debuting the 70.5 Camaro roller in their display along with a un-bodied top/sportsman chassis for racers to examine for their upcoming chassis needs.

The new CDRC 70.5 project Camaro features a light weight chassis Pro/Modified chassis with multiple titanium components to match the ultra light weight body of the 70.5 Camaro. The whole body weighs just 58 pounds painted. The car will be powered a Brad 6 Motor with a DMPE M5 Blower. As in previous years Hossler Duncan racing will be using a Encoder converter to get the power to the ground The new 70.5 Camaro will campaigned by Hossler Duncan Racing Team in the 2009 season.

1/11/2009 - Hammond 1945 Chevy Gasser nears completion at CDRC - Just completed at the Chris Duncan Race cars shop is Rick Hammond's
'56 chevy gasser w/ set back engine location, a newly fabricated fire wall and full 14 point cage. The new gasser also feature a custom constructed CDRC square tube back half and satin tin work, lean windows, diver pedals and motor plates- mid plate. The chassis was also set-up with mounting for a len co trans and a fiberglass front-end was mounted by CDRC. Custom CDRC wheelie bars were also fabricated for the new nostalgia Chevy.

Cynergy Composes 70 1/2 Camaro body artist's concept drawing

1/3/2009 - Project 70.5 Camaro begins for World Drag Expo debut - The thrash is on to complete the Hossler-Duncan Camaro Roller by the upcoming 2009 World Drag Expo. The large 40 foot CDRC display at the january 24th and s5th event in Shaun Illinois will feature the new Cynergy Composites body and roller chassis. With body dimensions on-hand, the chassis construction will begin before the very first Cynergy Composites body will be pulled from their new mold.

12/27/2008 - Custom fabrication for Winkler Duster - Mark Winkler brought his bracket racing Duster to CDRC for a back-half 4-link chassis reconstruction along a CDRC 14 point rollcage installation. New wheel tubs and tin/interior work completed the construction along with custom header fabrication for the race car project.

The new Camaro will house their current record-setting drivetrain from their Corvette and will be built by CDRC, with a ultra light weight '70.5 Camaro body built by Cynergy Composites.

11/5/2008 - CDRC completing complete chassis, body and tinwork restoration of Pro/Modified - After their devastating summer trailer fire that all but destroyed the Zach Barklage 1957 Chevrolet Pro/modified. The car was brought to Chris Duncan Race Cars to restore the chrome moly chassis, tinwork, new fiberglass body reconstruction, Lexan windows, and various hardware components like fuel cell and interior component reconstruction.

No job is too big or too small at CDRC, the shop worked with the Barklage family to complete what they needed to go back to their own shop to continue work to rebuild for the 2009 season, best wished to their rebuild and hope to see them back at the track soon....

9/20/2008 - Hossler/Duncan go on three week racing tour, add to winning streak and set personal records - The team's winning streak continued with their third Super Chevy win in a row. After major repairs from the Board Dragway crash, the team rebuilt the Corvette, pulled it out of the trailer and won their third Super Chevy Nitro Coup event in a row with zero adjustments to the can right off of the Chris Duncan Race Cars chassis jig. 8/29/2008 - Joe Capps 1600 Horsepower Cuda Completed - The NMCA 1974 Cuda now features a CDRC 25.2 chassis to handle the Pro Charger equipped Chrysler wedge.

Lots of fabrication trickery includes trick stuff in cu da
carbon fiber wheel tubs, double adjustable Chris Duncan Race Cars 4 link and fabricated chrome moly differential housing.

The custom fresh air system under the hood features four K&N air filters under the Cuda emblem hood along with a , tilt steering column.

8/9/2008 - Bucaro Sets Nostalgia Pro Street Record - At the NMCA Superbowl of Muscle car Racing, Joe reset the Nostalgia Pro Street class record w/ a 7.42 @ 186 MPH but lost 2nd round red light. - the new CDRC updates must have worked!

"The New chrisduncanracecars.com will feature our latest customer cars that roll out of the shop along with featured specials from our product lines and our own CDRC developed components." Chris Duncan continued "Please bookmark our big new effort to keep racers up do date on the latest from the shop."

The new site, developed by the GoFast Group, will continue to expand even larger than it's current state.
